URBAN 3, YOUTH EXCHANGE IN FRANCE, METZ ABOUT MEDIA

The youth exchange will bring together 30 young people from the Czech Republic, Italy, Poland, Estonia and France to discuss about the role of media in our societies and how media can increase youth participation. Media play very important role in today’s world. They are prerequisites of democracy, but at the same time they influence people very much and especially young people are very often confused by different messages coming across from media. We believe it is very important for young people to understand how media work, be able to work with information and process them and think critically about the information they get.

This youth exchange will give young people an opportunity to become young journalists and create newspapers, radio shows and journalism photos. They will work in international groups, have to divide the tasks, learn how to use new tools, make interviews with local people in France and create together a product.

At the same time, media will be used as a tool to make young people express their opinions. The main topics will be global challenges and European citizenship but young people will be free to propose topics which are important for them. These media tools will enable young people to express their opinions on these abstract topics in a creative way which is much easier for them.

The results of the project will be after published on a website which will be disseminated widely among other youth organisations, young people and local communities in the partner countries. These products will be a great tool to enhance the visibility of the Youth in Action programme as well.

The exchange will take place in Metz end of june beginning of july 2011.(We will confirm you soon the exact date)

The advanced Planning Visit will take place in Metz from 30 april till 1of may.

Arrival 29 departure 2^nd -full working day.

Book your ticket as soon as possible, maximum remboursement on a base of 100% is 250 euros per person (we will not rembourse more)

Very important : We want a person who is really involved in the project for the prep meeting and who is a leader commited to the topic (international youth and urban art)

We cover 100% of the costs

Training course in Turkey/ Treening Türgis

Training course: Volunteerism and training methodoliges.

A training course that will take place on the 1st to 8th of July in Gaziantep, Turkey.
They will cover 70% of your travel costs and 100% of your visa. Your travel costs should not be higher than 550 euros.

They will make sure that you will get from the airport to the destination and back to the airport.

how it all ended

Ma jätsin millegi pärast blogi kirjutamise pooleli peale puhkust... kuigi peale seda juhtus niivõrd palju. Me kolisime uude kohta, mille nimi oli San Martin. Me olime seal 3 nädalat.. Ühel nädalal töötasin ma arstidega ja me käisime nendega kohalikes külades arstiabi pakkumas. Järgneval nädalal olin ma inglise keele õpetaja ühes külas ühele koolile... need lapsed õppisid päris palju selle nädala jooksul, kuid ma ei usu, et neil enam peas on midagi, ehk Hello või siis how are you.. ja kas nad üldse mäletavad mind või meid... ei tea... ja viimasel nädalal töötasime koolis, kus õpivad erivajadustega lapsed (kurdid, pimedad, vaimse puuetega etc).. ja siis tuli hüvastijätt. See perekond, kelle juures ma olin korraldasid mulle peo. See oli niivõrd vahva ja unustamatu. Järgmisel päeval kui oli aeg lennukile minna, olime me kõik pisarates.... aga ma naasen sinna üsna pea :) nüüd hakkan ma siia kirjutama erinevatest projektidest, mis kuskil toimuvad. Midagi isiklikku ma kirja ei pane, see kes tunneb huvi teab mu numbrit.

the vacation will soon end

Viimased puhkusepäevad on olnud võrldemisi rahulikud, sest see pere, kes mind praegu hostib, peab töötama. Sellegi poolest on nii vahva olnud. Eile viidi mind hiina restorani sööma ja mu koogile telliti küünal, sest sooviti tähistada minu sünnipäeva - kuigi mu sünnipäev on alles järgmise aasta Juulis. Põhjenduseks toodi see, et nad ei saa seda minuga tähistada õigel ajal.. Täna läheme me taco belli sööma, sest ma ju ei saa lahkuda Ameerikast kui ma pole seal käinud, samuti läheme Potterit vaatama, seda ootan ma kõige kõige rohkem!!! Aga nädalavahetus saab olema väga väga muhe, homme sõidame Puerto de San Jose'sse, kus mu perekonna sugulasel on maja seal, see on ookeani ääres ja lõpetan oma puhkuse nädala seal. Tundub tore tulevat.. selle osa juures ootan ma kõige rohkem sellegi poolest tähtede sadu, mis peaks olema pühapäeva öösel, nad ütlesid, et sa näed langevaid tähti iga paari sekundi järel ja neid on massiivselt ja taolist sadu saab Guatemalas näha tavaliselt iga seitsme aasta järel...

ma tunnen ennast nii luckyna ja ma ei saa aru, miks või kuidas see minuga kõik juhtub.. see tundub nii...vau

jah, ma olen sõnatu

praegu saadan oma suured kallid ja tervitused oma kolmele perekonnale: perekond Papp, Sikk ja Bendfelt :) armastan teid kõiki!
