the vacation will soon end

Viimased puhkusepäevad on olnud võrldemisi rahulikud, sest see pere, kes mind praegu hostib, peab töötama. Sellegi poolest on nii vahva olnud. Eile viidi mind hiina restorani sööma ja mu koogile telliti küünal, sest sooviti tähistada minu sünnipäeva - kuigi mu sünnipäev on alles järgmise aasta Juulis.

..

I get lost in the beauty of everything i see

The world ain't half as bad as they paint it to be

If all the sons and all the daughters stop to take it in

Well hopefully the hate subsides and the love can begin

But until then come home come home

'cause i've been waiting for you for so long

And right now there's a war between the vanities

But all i see is you and me

And the fight for you is all i've ever known

So come home

people always leave

You say i am so lucky to love someone who loves me back, but...

jah, Ma olen nüüdseks elanud viies erinevas kohas ja oi kui raske on iga kord liikuda edasi, kolida uude kohta. Praegu on mul puhkuse nädal - see on olnud niivõrd imeline.

...people always leave

the crown of glory

When I doubt people, I feel pain, when I judge people, it is unbearable. When I hate people, there is no value to my exsistence. Yet, If I believe, I am deceived. If I love, I am betrayed.
even though we are deceived - I still believe
though we are betrayed - I still forgive

but when I love those who act against me - I bring victory.

Moving

For some reasons we are proabably moving to Santiago Atitlan to do our work. We are no more in Nuevo Progreso...

bye bye, will miss these people :(

I love you nuevo progreso

The first day of the first working week started with a breakfast that we always have – eggs, beans and fried bananas. Afterwards we went to the hospital to meet the workers, the place and we were slightly introduced to our work in the hospital. But this week wasn’t about working in the hospital, instead we were planting the coffee. So after a little trip to the hospital we went to the place where we worked for the whole week. On the first day, the owner of the land where we were working, told us about the importance of the coffee and our job on that day was to gather 200 sticks and push them into the ground leaving 1 meter space between every stick. The job was actually quite difficult, considering the fact that we were working on a very järsul nõlval. I was very exhausted in the end of the day so I just spent it in my bed. On the next day we started digging – i think it was the hardest part. We had to dig 100 holes tolerating the hot weather and the uncomfortable landscape. In the end of this day i was also only capable to lie in the bed. On Wednesday we had help – the man who is usually taking care of the land and the planting came to help us. He had a really good tips to show us to make our work more effective. On that day we almost finished with all of the holes. On the same night, Elias took me to a ride with his motorbike in Nuevo Progreso. It was so nice to discover different sides of this place. The next day we already started planting – it is good to know that there are at least 10 trees that I have planted. I named them Helmut’s. We were all very very happy that we finished our work quickly because it was very challenging in physical and in mental way. This job made me discover the strenghts that I didn’t think I have. The experience gave us the idea of the the most primary work in developing countries – and god, how i admire these people even more and more, because I would never be able to do this every single day. The most amazing part of the job is that they spent 12 hours every day on the place and get only 30 quetzales for it – which is 3 euros per day. But we knew that we had to work on Friday also so we thought that it would be a good idea to give children an english lesson on the next day, because they don’t have school at the moment. So on Thursday Me, Ludi and Arunan went to look for children who would like to participate in our class. We got a lot of positive answers. On the same day we were also invited to go to a baby shower and of course we went. It was actually a first time for me to participate in some kind of celebration. After that we had a spanish lesson with Ludi and then the dinner. On Friday we expected children to meet us 8 o clock in the morning, but we were so suprised over the amount of children who were participating. There was approximately 20 children who attended the class. We were teaching them primary words, sentences and played games with them. They were so happy and excited, that they constantly asked when will we make another lesson. Later on that day we were preparing to welcome another volunteer – Philippe. So we drew him a poster. It was really nice to have him here, because he is such a good person. On that day we had dinner all together and we went to bed quite early. On Saturday we woke up and decided to go to the river, so we spent some time there with our new friends – Orlando and Lilian. We spend so much free time with them, because they are very nice and welcoming. Orlando also showed us the Guatemalan traditional dances. It is always very fun with them. On the same night we decided to just sit in the fireman station, all together, and listen to some music and talk instead of going to the fiesta. They are celebrating halloween here. On the last day of the week we were just resting and making a fruit salad. It was soo good! And of course the day ended with us sitting in the porch and just talking and talking.. I love this place already so much. It’s like my home
